About Us
Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.
We are now looking for a Seasonal Visitor Assistant to join us on a part-time basis, working 3 - 5 days per week, for a fixed-term contract until November 2026.

The Role
As a Seasonal Visitor Assistant, you will provide advice and support to visitors within our Pen y Pass Information Hub, regarding Yr Wyddfa, the area and Eryri National Park more widely.
Specifically, you’ll offer face-to-face advice and handle a wide range of visitor enquiries, encouraging responsible use of the countryside and promoting local attractions and resources.
You'll also help raise awareness of the Park’s special qualities and provide a welcoming and informative point of contact, while promoting visitor safety and sustainable tourism practices.
Additionally, you will:
- Support retail services
- Ensure the Hub remains clean, tidy and compliant
- Help organise staff rotas
- Handle visitor complaints and praise
- Support the Sustainable Tourism Manager
About You
To be considered as a Seasonal Visitor Assistant, you will need:
- The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
- Extensive experience of climbing in the area
- Local knowledge and enthusiasm for the qualities of the National Park and the area
- Good knowledge of Wales’s geography and attractions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Willingness to work weekends and bank holidays
